Speciality: Vinyasa Flow + Yoga Sculpt + Intro to Yoga

Danielle Fraser is a proud Black and Indian woman originally from the vibrant island of Jamaica. Danielle’s journey with yoga began during college , where she stumbled upon it as a lifeline to navigate deeply personal challenges. Little did she know that this chance encounter would evolve into an unwavering source of strength and a lifelong passion.

After becoming certified in Ashtanga, Danielle realized the limitations of traditional studio settings. This inspired her to create a more inclusive and accessible practice, one where she can meet people exactly where they are in their journey and extend the same invaluable support yoga has provided her. She now teaches Vinyasa, Slow Flow, and Power Flow, each style tailored to help individuals connect deeply with themselves.

Outside of yoga, Danielle is an Executive Assistant, an avid home cook working on her nutrition certification, and a sports lover—from basketball to F1, women’s soccer, and tennis. She also cherishes time with friends and traveling.

Peter Lynch | Instructor

Speciality: Flow + Intiuitive Movement

Peter began practicing yoga after a New Year’s resolution in 2000.  He initially practiced Bikram ‘hot yoga’ and found the intensity not only benefitted his health, but helped him focus his mind and better navigate his heart. After exploring a diversity of styles in Seattle, he eventually pursued teaching as a part of his practice, receiving RYT 200-hour certifications from both Samadhi Yoga (2010) and Seattle Yoga Arts (2013).

Peter’s teaching style reflects his passion for yoga as a way to connect to the joy of corporeal expression.  Yoga is a practice of awareness and offers the opportunity to expand consciousness to all corners of the lived experience. He enjoys blending hatha, vinyasa and a variety of other styles of yoga in his classes and also teaches specialized classes for people with Parkinson’s Disease (www.yogaforpd.com). He teaches regular classes in studios, workplaces, residences and hospitals in the Seattle area.  Peter also holds a B.A. in Anthropology from Pomona College.

Steph Potraz | Instructor

Speciality: Yoga Essentials + Slow Flow + Intro to Yoga

In 2007 Steph picked up a yoga DVD and a seed was planted, but it wasn’t until 2013 amid a big life transition and exploration of her own mental and physical health that Steph committed herself fully to the practice. She was delighted to find that yoga cultivated not only strength and suppleness in the body, but inner resilience, mental clarity, and connection to self, too. In 2018 while working full-time, Steph spent a year immersed in the alignment-focused, heart-centered program at Seattle Yoga Arts.

Steph offers a playful movement practice that invites sweet awareness and acceptance of breath, the body, and the inner experience. Steph eventually left corporate work in pursuit of inner fulfillment and along with teaching yoga, is now a passionate climber, route-setter, and nature lover all of which she draws from in her classes and workshops. She seeks to inspire students to meet their inner edge with courage and fierce compassion through challenging yet accessible classes. Wherever you are in your process – whether brand new to the practice, focused on enhancing your mental health, or balancing other fitness modalities – Steph can support your journey to more steadiness, interconnection, and authentic living.

Jeevitha Machaiah | Instructor

Speciality: Hatha + Ashantga + Vinyasa

Jeevitha is a certified Hatha and Ashtanga yoga teacher from Mysore, India, the birthplace of Ashtanga yoga. She began her yoga journey in 2020 and quickly committed to a daily practice after experiencing profound physical and mental benefits. Inspired by these positive changes, she decided to share the gift of yoga with others.

After two years of dedicated personal practice, Jeevitha transitioned into teaching professionally. Prior to her formal certification, she gained valuable experience by guiding students online and leading sessions in local parks. Her training is grounded in yoga philosophy, anatomy, and the technical aspects of asanas. Jeevitha understands that each posture offers unique benefits and tailors her instruction to meet the individual needs of her students.

Jeevitha emphasizes the importance of breath control, believing that a steady breath leads to mental and physical balance. This focus on breath, alignment, and mindful movement forms the foundation of her teaching, helping students cultivate wellness and personal growth through their yoga practice.

Julia Hibarger | Instructor

Speciality: Flow + Iyengar + Ashtanga + Jivamukti

Rooted in the Iyengar, Ashtanga and Jivamukti yoga traditions, Julia’s classes welcome all bodies and levels of experience to explore how the breath, mind and body can open up to play and possibilities through alignment-based flow and movement.  Julia is grateful for completing 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training in 2021, followed by 300-Hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training in 2023, with the inimitable dynamic duo, Rodney Yee and Colleen Saidman, at The Yoga Shanti in New York.

After experiencing back and knee issues from running and competitive volleyball throughout high school and college, Julia tagged along with a friend to a yoga class in Brooklyn and never stopped practicing!  20+ years later, she has had the privilege to learn from and practice with gifted teachers across New York, San Francisco, LA and Seattle (including YoBe!) and integrates all of those voices into her teaching and practice.  Julia is especially excited to share breath and body awareness, along with a little bit of dharma (yogic philosophy).

Outside of yoga, Julia loves chasing epic sunsets, going for walks, hiking and camping, paddleboarding, dancing to good beats, açaí bowls and spending time with her family, friends and cat, who you might just see running around Beacon Hill near YoBe!
